Purple Trees In Seville
One of my former art teachers would put purple in all the leaves of her trees.
I thought she was crazy.
Maybe not…

Palace Madrid Spain 1
Check visiting hours.
We didn’t and arrived too late.
It rained every day we were in Madrid.
One morning,
we asked the hotel front desk staff
what the weather would be like that day.
He said “I will check on that for you.”
We were expecting him to check the paper or the internet,
instead he turned to the man sitting right beside him
and asked “what’s the weather going to be like today.”

We weren’t able to get into the palace (arrived too late)
but we were able to roam the gardens and play in the maze.
All free of charge, of course.
