Of course, the number one church to see
is The Basilica di San Marco
in Piazza San Marco
(another free must see).
It is free,
although it is polite to leave a donation.

Venice, like most European cities,
has its fair share of food markets.
These are usually open in the morning
and are a great place
to pick up fruit for snacks.
The Rialto Bridge has been
the main pedestrian crossing
on the Grand Canal
It is a great place to
watch boats go by
and soak up the atmosphere.
It is also free to cross,
perfect for the frugal traveler.
