The Hall Of Mirrors is one of the most magnificent rooms
in Versailles.
The curved ceiling was painted by Lebrun
and illustrates the history of Louis XIV.
The cartouches explain the scenes.
Along one side
are seventeen mirror-filled mirrors
facing the same amount of windows.
The hall was the setting for
official audiences, balls and other entertainment.
