The Mercury Drawing Room
One of the most luxurious rooms in the King’s State Apartment, the Mercury Drawing Room was first used as an antechamber. It was converted into the state bedchamber in 1682.
The automaton clock was presented to Louis XIV in 1706 by Antoine Morand.
