If your heart is set on seeing the Uffizi while in Florence
and you are only in the city for a short time,
it is best to get the tickets in advance
(either online, through a travel agent, or if you’re cruising, as a shore excursion).
Same day tickets are extremely limited.
The hubby and I have been to Florence twice
and haven’t been able to get into the gallery.

I found this interesting graffiti on a support beam under a building in Ensenada.
I would guess it was done in celebration of the Day Of The Dead (Día de Muertos).
On November 1st (All Saints Day) and 2nd (All Souls Day), the days after Halloween,
the dead are celebrated and honored.
Residents visit and decorate graves and cemeteries,
build home altars and
prepare special foods for the departed.

There is a tribute to master magicians Siegfried & Roy near the Mirage on the Las Vegas strip.
However, inside the casino near the lobby, there is a white tiger habit.

Siegfried & Roy
Masters of the Impossible,
creators of an unprecedented phenomenon in the theatrical arts.
As the pioneers of family entertainment in Las Vegas,
they have changed the course of its history and
have become the city’s all-time premier attraction.
Furthermore, they have made conservation history in providing
tireless and dedicated leadership to help preserve nature’s
endangered white tigers for future generations

With deepest gratitude from friends and admirers
around the world whose lives have been enriched
by their magical touch.
