Philipsburg has a wonderful boardwalk along the beach. There are plaques and statues, cannons and tilework. There are cute (yet pricey) vendors and stores, and a bit of sand to relax on. The people watching alone is well worth the stroll.

Leave some time in Charlotte Amalie to wander the streets. There are many gorgeous buildings that aren’t noted in any walking tour.
