It rained while we were in Princess Cays which made for some beautiful photos. The raindrops glistened on the flower petals.

Water Coconut Holetown Barbados

A couple of men were processing water coconuts by the road, pouring the water into 2 liter plastic containers. We bought one of the coconuts for $2 local currency or $1 U.S. (as of December 24th, 2013). The 2 liter plastic containers were selling for $12 local currency or $6 U.S. They even cut the coconut after we finished the juice so we could eat the coconut jelly.

The mosaic uses the lead came discarded from a stained glass window in St. James Church. The roots are Amerindian shards. The main part of the tree is sea glass. The arch is made of ceramic shards and pieces of clay pipe.
