At Princess Cays, you could have the crowded, beach party feel, with full and convenient facilities, available close to the tender dock>
Or you can trek another fifteen minutes and have the beach to yourself. ‘Course the staff prefers you stay on the crowded beach, but this isn’t the staff’s vacation, is it?
When we visited the Princess Cays (in October 2010), the water was so clear, we didn’t even have to go into the water to see the fish. Here are some sergeant majors, what I refer to as the goldfish of the Caribbean because they are so common.
Princess Cays is a tender port. There are no dock for the large ship so visitors have to take a smaller boat in. I’m not a fan of tender ports because there is usually a lot of waiting to get on a boat TO the destination. Funnily enough, there tends to be a lot of space coming back.
