The Kensington Oval is Bridgetown’s cricket stadium. It has hosted many world class matches including World Cup events. The statue in front of the stadium is of Sir Garfield Sobers, one of the National Heroes of Barbados.

The cruise ship left Bridgetown, Barbados late in the day so we were able to capture this beautiful sunset as we walked back from Carlisle Bay to Bridgetown Port. We didn’t stay out much later because I get nervous about wandering around a strange place at night.
