Tiananmen Square, in the center of Beijing,
has the parliamentary buildings on the west side,
Mao’s Tomb on the south,
the Chinese National Museum on the east,
and the Forbidden City to the north.

The Forbidden City was the Imperial Palace
during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
The roofs are covered with yellow tile,
the color of the Imperial family.
There is a lower admission fee during the off season
(November to March).

Having over 8,000 terracotta warriors to guard a tomb
is impressive
but what is really impressive about the warriors at Xian
is that every, single warrior is different.
As individual as soldiers in a real army.
