This statue of Sir Charles James Napier
(erected in 1855)
stands in Trafalgar Square.
The building behind it,
St Martin-in-the-Fields church,
on the east side of the square
(The National Gallery is on the north).

The London Eye
(known also as the Millennium Wheel)
can be found on the south bank
of the River Thames.
It is the largest Ferris wheel in Europe
and is the most popular paid tourist attraction
in the UK.
No, there’s no dress code
(though there IS security).
These are simply a bunch of businessmen
(the London Eye isn’t inexpensive at £17.00 per adult).

Westminster Bridge is the bridge
over the River Thames
closest
to Parliament Square.
Parliament Square
(basically the Palace of Westminster
also named the Houses of Parliament)
houses, of course, the famous London landmark
Big Ben
(the Clock Tower)
(home of Big Ben)
