The detailing on the House of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads
(the door and this carved shield)
is an example of the detailing on many of the buildings in Tallinn.
It is a designer’s paradise,
guaranteed to inspire.
And that inspiration costs nothing.
Plenty to look at, simply walking down the streets.

Spent a very enjoyable time in Tallinn in Estonia,
wandering the city and enjoying the history.
The House of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads sounds
like some cultish club
but is really a unique 15th century concert hall.
