Musee Massena, Nice, France

Musee Massena Nice France

Musee Massena Of Art And History
is situated on La Promenade des Anglais
in Nice.
It focuses on the history of Nice and Europe
from the 11th to 19th century.
Especially noted is
the collection of authentic arms and armours
from Europe from the 15th to 19th centuries.

We didn’t go in (time was limited)
but we did admire
the 1898 Italianate neoclassical villa.
That was free and beautiful.

Snacks In Cannes, France

Cannes Cakes

Cannes Deli

Cannes Paella Maison Extra

Cannes Pizza

Cannes Sweets

Cannes Tarts

Cannes Tourte

Cannes is in France
so you know what that means…
great food including pastries and other sweets.
Even the frugal traveler
should save a few pennies (and calories)
to indulge.

Part of the joy is window shopping
for this treat.
Take your time and enjoy the wonderful variety,
then pop into a bakery the locals frequent
(you can tell the locals easily
by how quickly the lines move
- locals know what they’re buying)

Cannes, France

Cannes France

Cannes is one of the best known cities in the French Riviera,
mostly because of the star studded
Cannes Film Festival
(in May, every year).

It is a very expensive city to find a hotel in.
We traveled there
while on a cruise,
an economical way to do the region.
