Situated near the Colosseum, the Arch Of Constantine commemorates Constantine I’s victory over Maxentius at the Battle of Milvian Bridge on October 28, 312. It was dedicated in 315.

As we were trekking around Rome, we saw many, many locks attached to gates. These padlocks of love are attached to fences, gates, bridges or similar public fixtures by lovers to symbolize their everlasting love. Yes, very romantic!
