How To Take The Public Bus From Valletta To Mdina, Malta
It is REALLY simple to take the public bus from Valletta to Mdina.
The main bus terminal is outside the city gates by the Triton Fountain.
There are information booths to help you find the right bus number
(and listings, very simple).
Tickets were purchased on the bus (around 50 pence for one way)
and the trip was around 30-40 minutes.
We asked the driver to announce where the stop was
(since it was a direct bus, Mdina was at the end of the line)
and before we left the driver,
we asked where the pick up stop was
to take us back to Valletta.
