Casablanca is, of course, Spanish for white house.
It was originally named Casa Branca in 1515 by the Portuguese.
Between 1580-1640, Casa Blanca was part of Spain.
Today, it is nicknamed Caza by locals.
La Sqala is a restaurant built into the old city wall
in front of the port and at the edge of the old medina.
