This stop in St Lucia was on the very first cruise
the hubby and I took (our honeymoon).
We hear that travelers either love or hate cruising.
We love it.
It gives us all the freedom of backpacking
but without worry about longer distance traveling
and packing/unpacking.

Any time we’re in a tropical place,
we like to feast on local fruits bought at the market
or picked off the tree
(not here, that would be stealing).

In St Lucia, the hubby and I hired a taxi driver
for the day (flat rate, negotiated down from original quote).
He took us all around the island.
We treated him to lunch at one of the local food stalls.
