They can be found fairly inexpensively in the markets.

Tahiti Mountains II
We hired a taxi for the day to see more of the island.
Heads up to the men folk…
Tahiti has a special gender, the Mahu,
which is a man who acts like a woman.
This gender is not only accepted
but revered so treat him/her with respect.

Tahiti Beach I
On one of our trips to Australia,
we flew Air Tahiti Nui,
which allows passengers a free stop over in Tahiti.
Perfect as a break between long flights.
