Iolani Palace Coronation Pavilion is where King Kalakaua and Queen Kapiolani were crowned. It’s often called Iolani Palace Bandstand because there are often free concerts here.
Iolani Barracks or Halekoa (House of Warriors) is situated next to Iolani Palace. It housed the Royal Guards Of Hawaii and was built in 1870.
The Hawaii State Capital building was completed in 1969. The site was once Haimoeipo, the royal residence of Queen Dowager Kalama. The grounds host quite a few monuments and objects including the Liberty Bell.
